Volkslift Schindler invested nearly RMB 10 million to set up a CNAS national laboratory approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. With new product development, testing, elevator parts testing, electrical parts performance testing, metal materials performance testing and other functions, the laboratory provides a strong support to improve the international competitiveness of company products.

CNAS national laboratory

CNAS is the national accreditation authority that is set and authorized after approval by Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Certification and Accreditation and is uniformly responsible for accreditation work of certification agencies, laboratories, inspection bodies and other relevant agencies.

Postdoctoral workstation

The postdoctoral workstation of Volkslift Schindler has been formally established. Dr. Wang Daodang entered the station with a topic “three-dimensional positioning and measurement system based on subwavelength fiber point diffraction interference”. The study is mainly used in three-dimensional positioning and measurement of elevator installation components. In view of the existing elevator installation process, it is too dependent on the operator experience and cannot accurately determine the optimal evaluation. The study is of importance to the elevator installation efficiency and the reliability optimization.
